Edgar Fasel - associé honoraire

Edgar Fasel, 1941, holds a law degree from the University of Fribourg. He established his communication consultancy practice in 1992. He thrives in designing integrated communication strategies, cultivating relationships with the relevant target audiences, dealing with crisis communication and lobbying.

Before his arrival in the canton of Vaud, he served as Secretary of the Canton of Fribourg parliament, spokesman for the Nestle Group, Secretary of the Christian Democratic Caucus of the Federal Assembly, personal adviser to the Federal Councillor Kurt Furgler and Director of Communication for the Sandoz Group.

His publications include the essays “Faut-il brûler la Suisse?” (Julliard/L'Age d'Homme, 1983), “01 La Suisse exp(l)ose” (L'Age d'Homme, 1998) and “Lobbying in der Schweiz” (mediata sa, Villars-sur-Glâne, 2005) as part of a collective work.

Edgar Fasel is co-founder of the Swiss Society of Public Affairs, the Club of Swiss lobbyists, and is a director of several companies and charitable foundations.
